1. What Antichaos is
Antichaos is a personal productivity app: it turns unstructured input (typed or spoken) into organised tasks, reminders, and plans, with optional AI assistance. It is not a licensed medical, psychological, financial, or legal service, and its AI features do not provide therapy, diagnosis, or professional advice. These terms apply whenever you use Antichaos. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to them.
2. Who runs Antichaos
Antichaos is operated by Jeremy Doupe, Melbourne, Australia. Contact for everything (terms, privacy, support): legal@antichaos.app.
3. Accounts
An account is required to sync your data across devices. You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Antichaos offers Apple, Google, and email sign-in; passwords are never stored in plaintext. Accounts may not be transferred, sold, or shared. Antichaos may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or abuses the service, with notice where possible.
4. Subscriptions, trial, and billing
Antichaos offers a free tier and two paid subscriptions, Antichaos Core ("Core" below) and Antichaos Premium ("Premium" below). Both are billed through Apple as auto-renewing subscriptions.
Core includes the AI features that sort, transcribe and schedule what you capture, and the AI briefing. Premium includes everything in Core, plus Thought Partner, the AI conversation that turns something you are working through into a task or a decision, and sharing cards.
Core and Premium are each offered monthly or annually.
Prices are shown in the app and on the App Store page before you subscribe.
The price and renewal period that apply to you, in your local currency as Apple sets it, are shown on the in-app purchase screen and on the App Store listing before you confirm a purchase. Those are the current, authoritative figures.
New users receive a 28-day free trial of Premium features starting at first use, with no payment method required; when the trial ends, paid features lock unless you subscribe, and nothing is charged automatically because no payment method is taken for the trial.
Manage or cancel any time in your Apple Account subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policies; Antichaos cannot issue App Store refunds directly. Prices may change; existing subscribers get notice before any change affects them. Usage of AI features within Premium is subject to fair-use caps, with in-app warnings before any cap is reached.
5. Your content
Your tasks, decisions, brain dumps, notes, and plans are yours, as is anything you record by voice or photograph into a capture. You grant Antichaos only the limited licence needed to operate the service: storing, syncing, processing (including sending relevant content to the AI sub-processors when you use AI features), and displaying your content back to you. Audio and images are covered by that licence for as long as it takes to read them and no longer. Neither is stored on Antichaos's servers. A recording waiting to be transcribed, or one whose transcription failed, is held on your own device until it succeeds or you discard it, as set out in the privacy policy. Antichaos claims no ownership, no right to publish, and no right to use your content for anything beyond running the product. Export is available in-app; deletion is available in-app and removes your content per the privacy policy's retention windows.
6. AI features
The AI features (Brain Dump parsing, voice capture and its transcription, reading a photo you attach to a capture or a schedule, scheduling, export briefings, Thought Partner) are powered by third-party large language models: OpenAI's, or Anthropic's Claude run by Amazon Web Services. Voice transcription always uses OpenAI; the other features may use either. AI outputs are suggestions, not decisions: the product proposes, you confirm. AI can produce confident-sounding output that is wrong; review anything important before acting on it.
The AI features are scoped to productivity. They are not designed for, and must not be relied on for, medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, or as a general-purpose chatbot.
How AI conversation data is handled is set out in the privacy policy.
7. What you cannot do
You cannot: use AI features to generate bulk content for resale or republication; bypass authentication, rate limits, usage caps, or entitlement checks; reverse-engineer or resell the service; submit content that is illegal, infringing, or abusive; or use Antichaos in any way that would breach Australian Consumer Law or equivalent law in your jurisdiction.
8. Accuracy and your decisions
Antichaos is decision-support for your personal organisation. Parsed tasks, inferred dates, and AI-generated plans are best-effort interpretations of your input, so verify anything consequential (deadlines, commitments, anything involving other people's expectations) before relying on it.
9. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or equivalent law where the exclusion is not permitted. Where liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited, at Antichaos's option, to re-supplying the service or refunding the price paid for the relevant period.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Antichaos's total liability is limited as set out in section 9, and Antichaos is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive loss, including lost profits, lost data, or missed deadlines arising from reliance on parsed or AI-generated output. This clause does not limit liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Suspension and termination
Close your account any time in-app or via legal@antichaos.app; data removal follows the privacy policy's windows. Antichaos can suspend or terminate access for breach, abuse, legal requirement, or if the service ceases to operate, with as much notice as circumstances permit. If the service is discontinued, subscribers get notice and export remains available for a wind-down period of at least 30 days.
12. Changes to these terms
Material changes get in-product notice and a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after the change date is acceptance.
13. Jurisdiction and disputes
Governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia; non-exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts; statutory home-jurisdiction rights preserved for EU/EEA, UK, AU, and US users. Antichaos prefers direct resolution: email legal@antichaos.app with "Dispute" in the subject for a response within 14 days.
